Most people run kiln-dried in a stove and seasoned on an open fire, but there is no wrong answer. If you are not sure, order one bag of each and see which you reach for.

How much does a bag of logs cost?
£170 for one bag, or £160 a bag when you order two or more. Kiln-dried and seasoned logs are the same price, and delivery is free within 10 miles of Chesham.
How many logs are in a bag?
Each bag holds roughly 1.1–1.2 m³ of logs, loose measure. The logs are cut to about 25cm and split to a manageable size, so they suit most stoves and open fires.
What is the difference between kiln-dried and seasoned logs?
Kiln-dried logs are dried in our kilns, so they catch quickly and burn hot: the one to choose when you want a cold room warm fast. Seasoned logs are dried naturally in the open air and burn more slowly, so the fire lasts longer and needs feeding less often.
Are your logs Ready to Burn certified?
Our kiln-dried logs are certified Ready to Burn under certificate WS6053, with a moisture content of 20% or less.
Where do you deliver firewood?
We deliver seven days a week from Chesham to 21 towns and villages, including Amersham, Ashley Green, Aston Clinton, Beaconsfield, Berkhamsted, Botley, Bovingdon, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Chenies, Chesham, Great Missenden, Holmer Green, Hyde Heath, Latimer, Ley Hill, Little Missenden, Prestwood, Seer Green, Tring and Wendover. We are out delivering most days, so we can often reach addresses beyond this area. Ask and we will tell you straight away.
Do you sell kindling?
Yes. Kindling is £5 a bag, or 5 bags for £20, added to an order of one bag or more of logs.
Where does the wood come from?
All of our timber comes from managed woodland in the Chilterns. It is cut, split and delivered by the same family business that has supplied the area for 15 years.
